41 Students Earn First-Class Honours as Salem University Celebrates Academic Excellence

Salem University in Lokoja, Kogi State, has announced an impressive milestone in academic achievement as 41 of its graduating students will receive first-class honours during the institution’s upcoming convocation ceremony. 

Out of a total of 499 graduates, these exceptional scholars have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, setting a high standard for the university's academic excellence.

In a statement released by the university's management, the institution expressed pride in the achievements of the graduating class.

 "This milestone reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, as well as the quality of education provided at Salem University," the statement read.

The first-class graduates represent various disciplines, showcasing the institution’s diverse and rigorous academic offerings. 

This achievement underscores Salem University's commitment to nurturing intellectual and leadership potential in its students.

The Vice-Chancellor of Salem University, Professor Alewo Johnson Akubo, congratulated the students on their exceptional performance and urged them to be ambassadors of the institution in their future endeavors. 

"Your first-class honours are not just a personal achievement but a reflection of the values of diligence, discipline, and excellence that we uphold at Salem University," he remarked.

While 41 students attained first-class honours, the remaining graduates also performed admirably, with a significant number achieving second-class upper and lower divisions.
