It has been announced that the Federal Government will provide N2.75 billion in compensation to property owners who have been affected by the demolition required for the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway from channel 0 to channel 3. 
The Minister of Works, David Umahi, made this announcement during a stakeholders meeting in Lagos State on Wednesday. Additional compensation is expected to be provided in the near future.
