APC Chairman Ganduje Encourages Nigerian Students to Apply for Education Loan Fund

Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on Nigerian students, especially those from less privileged backgrounds, to apply for the Students Education Loan Fund.
He made this appeal during a sensitization workshop on the education loan fund organized by the APC's Kano chapter in Kano on Tuesday.

Ganduje, represented by the Director-General of the Campaign Gawuna Garu, Alhaji Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, emphasized that the loan fund aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students, bridging the financial gap and promoting easy access to education for all.

He highlighted that the purpose of the workshop was to inform students about President Bola Tinubu's commitment to expanding access to education in the country. Ganduje praised Tinubu as a visionary leader dedicated to creating a better future for Nigeria.

Ganduje also addressed concerns about the permissibility of taking loans in Islam, clarifying that there is no prohibition against it in the Quran. He urged students to disregard any misinformation that might dissuade them from applying for the loan.

Yahya Usman, President of the Kano State APC Students Council, reiterated the benefits of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund scheme, noting that it is accessible to all students and supports education at tertiary institutions. He commended President Tinubu for his efforts in assisting students and making education more accessible for Nigerian students.
