President Bola Tinubu has officially signed the new National Minimum Wage Amendment bill 2024 into law.
This landmark legislation, which mandates a minimum wage of N70,000, will be reviewed every three years.

The signing took place at the State House in Abuja on Monday, just days after the National Assembly passed the bill.

The President endorsed the bill during a Federal Executive Council meeting, with Senate President Godswill Akpabio and other National Assembly leaders in attendance.

The Head of Service stated that the new law demonstrates the President's commitment to workers' welfare.

President Tinubu expressed his gratitude to the National Assembly for their swift action in passing the bill.
