Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Diplomatic Tour of France and South Africa

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a week-long diplomatic mission to France and South Africa, during which he advanced Nigeria's strategic interests and reinforced bilateral ties.

Touching down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at approximately 9:10 pm, the President was warmly received by key administration officials, including the Chief of Staff, Hon. 

Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike.

President Tinubu's engagements included high-level discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron, culminating in a joint press conference where he highlighted Nigeria's progress in combating insecurity. 

The discussions underscored Nigeria’s commitment to fostering global partnerships to address critical challenges and enhance security in the West African region.

The President also engaged with key stakeholders in South Africa, further solidifying Nigeria’s diplomatic presence on the continent. 

His return marks the conclusion of a successful diplomatic mission that aimed to strengthen Nigeria’s international standing and bolster economic and security collaborations.

This visit underscores the administration’s proactive approach to addressing both domestic and international issues while fostering global partnerships for sustainable development.
